Android Device Compatibility

To know if your device is compatible with Filmic Pro, we recommend downloading the app and running some tests before committing to a subscription.

Please note that the support we are able to provide for all the compatible features in Filmic Pro varies on a device-by-device basis (and even on an Android version basis as well), and this is due to the manufacturers choosing to provide third parties with different access to both hardware and software features.

Of the thousands of device variants available on the Android platform, Filmic Pro is proud to support over 600 models including models from Asus, Google, Huawei, LG, OnePlus, Samsung, Sony, and Xiaomi. Of course, we wish we could support every model, but many devices are limited by camera framework errors and performance issues that do not allow us to implement Filmic Pro's advanced features with utmost stability.

Unfortunately, if you see the message above when attempting to install Filmic Pro, your smartphone is not supported.

If you are able to install the app, we recommend that you start by enabling Filmic Labs. This will unlock all available features in the app, including experimental features. You can enable this feature in Settings > Community if you are using Filmic Legacy or Settings > Info if you are using the latest version of Filmic Pro. Scroll down to the bottom to find Filmic Labs. Once enabled, close and restart the app.

Rest assured our team is striving to make sure that all Android users can enjoy the app at its full potential on their newest devices.

We recommend monitoring the Play Store and downloading any new release as soon as it is out to ensure you get all the significant improvements.
