Filmic Pro may limit what frame rates are available to you at certain times, based on several different factors. Here are some common reasons why you may not have access to all of the frame rates listed in Filmic Pro's Settings > Video > Frame Rate menu:
- Device Limitation: Each mobile device has its own capabilities and limitations that FiLMiC Pro must respect.
- Cinematographer Kit: The improved functionality available in our Cinematographer Kit increases FiLMiC Pro's demands of the processor.
- 10-bit SDR or Dolby Vision: FiLMiC Pro introduced support for 10-bit video recording on the iPhone 12 series and select Android devices that support 10-bit video.
If a frame rate preset is greyed out, it means it is not supported at your currently selected resolution, and will require you to drop down to 1080p or 720p to access it.
